Mission of Agency: Magdalene House Austin, based on the Love Heals model of Thistle Farms, was chartered in 2016 to address a lack of long-term, holistic care for adult survivors of sex trafficking in the Austin area. When a survivor is finally able to leave a life of slavery, in most situations she doesn’t have a community to which she can return. Without the support, she needs and lacking home and job skills, she frequently has no other choice but to return to her trafficker for emotional and financial support.

Work Performed:
A transformative remodel of unused storage space into a comfortable multi-use office and meeting room, as well as the creation of a new private outdoor common area and landscape enhancements throughout the property.
